The CTPA team will be working on new resources, to be made available publicly and to members, to describe the UK regulatory frameworks applicable to cosmetics as a matter of priority.
As of 11 January 2021, around 20% of UK registrations have not been transferred to an EU-based entity and will therefore be revoked. For an amount of these substances the transfer was not completed in time, and ECHA is giving until 31 March 2021 to completed the process.

On 17 November 2020, the UK Government issued several guidance documents related to the Product Safety and Metrology Statutory Instrument (SI), in which cosmetics are also included within Schedule 34.
As part of its 'no deal' contingency planning, Defra has been working on a REACH IT system to register and manage chemicals which should be in place by March 2019 (or December 2020 if a transition period is confirmed).
