Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) launched a number of short videos explaining customs processes, the role of intermediaries and what businesses need to know about importing and exporting goods.
The UK Government also launched the Northern Ireland Trader Support Service. This is a free service open to traders, intermediaries and carriers moving goods into and out of NI. The service will provide businesses with guidance and training, a digital service to support declarations, and support from customs experts.
The UK Government is planning to launch more preparedness guidance and video in the coming weeks; CTPA will keep companies updated.
