On 17 November 2020, the UK Government issued several guidance documents related to the Product Safety and Metrology Statutory Instrument (SI), in which cosmetics are also included within Schedule 34.
The cosmetic specific guidance can be found here, and gives a thorough overview of the regulatory requirements applicable to cosmetic products sold in the GB market as of 1 January 2021. The guidance is comprehensive and CTPA encourages all companies to review it.
