On 25 September 2020, the Chemicals Industry Association (CIA) and the EU Chemical Industry Council (Cefic) published a joint document providing advice to companies on the impact of Brexit on the Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals Regulation (REACH) if there is no Free Trade Agreement between the UK and the EU.
The document provides consideration to the main issues arising and provide specific advice to UK businesses on what to do to continue to sell chemicals in the EU, and to EU businesses to continue to sell in the UK.
