Introduction and CTPA Strategy

The key objective of CTPA’s DEI strategy, approved by the CTPA Board, is to identify and address issues related to the promotion of diversity, equity and inclusion to ensure that everyone - irrespective of their ability; age; appearance; disability; ethnicity; faith; gender; mental health; race; sexuality; size; socio-economic status - feels welcome and intersectionally* represented within and by the industry.

Together with the CTPA's DEI Working Group and with the support of the business and society consultancy C&E,  we continue to build our understanding of key issues, identifying and engaging key partners and highlighting how industry can collaborate to make the industry more inclusive for the benefit of all, which can ultimately help to drive system-wide change.

CTPA has created a DEI Hub as a vital resource providing legal requirements, related guidance, both external and from CTPA, and definitions to help steer companies of all sizes, members and non-members, as they address this critical issue.

*Intersectionality is a way to understand the ways that multiple forms of inequality or disadvantage sometimes compound themselves and create obstacles that often are not understood among conventional ways of thinking
