On 26 May at 14.00-15.30 BST (GMT+1), CTPA will run the webinar ‘Simplifying Brexit: Practical Advice for Small Businesses’, free for both members and non-members of CTPA. This event is intended to provide the necessary information for small and medium businesses, covering crucial aspects of Brexit preparedness to ensure their business can continue to run as smoothly as possible. At the end of the webinar, there will be a panel discussion with relevant external stakeholders, who will inform attendees about the support they have been providing businesses and also look to address some of the key concerns that their members might have.
Please see below the detailed programme. Companies can register for the webinar here.
- In the first part of the webinar, CTPA will provide an update of the current political situation and the Brexit negotiations, explaining all the possible scenarios that can occur at the end of the Brexit transition period (31 December 2020). CTPA will then provide a simple explanation on what the UK Cosmetics Regulation is expected to be, highlighting the key actions businesses shall take to ensure compliance and continue to sell product on the UK market.
- The second session of the webinar will be a panel discussion with relevant external stakeholders in the cosmetics industry. The two external panellists are Sallie Berkerey, Managing Director at Cosmetic Exective Women, and Millie Kendall from the British Beauty Council. The panel aims to allow each stakeholder to give an overview of the support given to their members, but more importantly address the key challenges their members are facing.
- A Q&A session will end the webinar to address questions from the audience.
