CTPA is hosting the webinar ‘UK Enforcement for Cosmetics and Competent Authorities’ on 17 April 2024 at 10.30-12.30 (UK time).
This CTPA webinar provides an overview of how cosmetic enforcement works in the UK. We will be joined by the national regulator for cosmetics, the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS), who will provide an overview of the organisation’s structure and how enforcement fits within the organisation, an insight into how cosmetic safety is managed, case studies of enforcement and other projects such as sector specific investigations. Richard Knight from Trading Standards, the competent authority for enforcing the UK Cosmetic Regulation, will also be joining to guide companies through how Trading Standards Officers may request information and deliver enforcement actions with real life examples and case studies.
The webinar is scheduled for 2 hours, with an opportunity for Q&A. It is for open for CTPA members and non-members.
