Do you Know how Industry can Defend Cosmetic Ingredients Under Scrutiny in GB?

In Great Britain, cosmetic ingredients are regulated under different legislations; in particular, the UK Cosmetics Regulation (UKCR) and the GB Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulation directly impact the use of substance as cosmetic ingredients in finished cosmetic products.

There are several processes under the UKCR and GB CLP which would ban or restrict cosmetic ingredients; however, industry can defend continued used of safe ingredients by demonstrating their safety and submit data to the regulators.  There are specific processes that allow industry to carry out ingredients defence in GB.

In order to explain such processes to defend cosmetic ingredients, CTPA and OPSS are holding a must-attend joint webinar on 13 November 2023 at 10.30-12.00.  The webinar will be free for CTPA members and available for a payable fee of £25 for non-members of the Association.
