Are you Familiar with the CMR Management Process Under the UK Cosmetics Regulation?

The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) recently published the CMR management process under the UK Cosmetics Regulation (UKCR).  Any substance used as a cosmetic ingredient which is classified as a carcinogen, mutagen or reprotoxic (CMR) under the GB Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulation is automatically banned under the UKCR, unless industry applies for an exemption for continued used of a specific substance by meeting the strict safety requirements of Article 15 of the UKCR.

In order to explain the process of the CMR management under the UKCR and how industry can apply for an exemption under Article 15 of the UKCR, CTPA and OPSS are holding a must-attend joint webinar on 13 November 2023 at 10.30-12.00.  The webinar will be free for CTPA members and available for a payable fee of £25 for non-members of the Association.
