CTPA expands its team to deliver even more for the UK cosmetics industry

To continue to implement its ambitious plans and enable the cosmetics and personal care industry to deliver excellence and support wellbeing, CTPA, the UK cosmetics and personal care industry trade association, is delighted to share the most recent updates to its team.

 

Leadership Team update

CTPA’s Leadership Team is composed of Director-General Dr Emma Meredith, Director of Science (new title) Caroline Rainsford and Director of Regulation (new title) Nico Shaw Núñez. The Leadership Team sets CTPA’s strategic direction, focussing on critical issues for our industry.

 

A newly created Communications and Marketing Team

Héloïse Prieur joined CTPA at the end of 2023 as Marketing Manager, a newly created role at CTPA. Reporting to Caroline Rainsford, Héloïse is in charge of external communications, stakeholder and media engagement as well as internal communications and membership engagement. Her Communications and Marketing team is composed of Communications Officer Eleanor O’Connor and Membership Officer Julia Hewitt.

 

Technical Team update

Caroline Rainsford’s scientific team is composed of Scientific Affairs Manager Francesca Rapolla and Natascha Kilts, who joined the organisation in Autumn 2023 in the newly created role of Scientific Project Manager. The scientific team is leading on scientific and chemicals strategy, ingredient management, safety assessment, cosmetovigilance and scientific communications.

Nico Shaw Núñez’ team is composed of International Affairs Manager Johanna Irigaray, Sustainability Affairs Manager Christine Lawson, Environmental Affairs Manager Rachael McEvoy and Regulatory Information Officer Carys Smith. They are in charge of the strategy for international and regulatory matters, CTPA’s sustainability strategy, including environmental legislation, UK, EU and international cosmetic regulations and free-trade agreements.

 

Operational Team update

Jana Mona is the Head of Financial Services (new title), supported by Alex Kadzeya who joined CTPA in Spring 2023 in the newly created role of Office Services Facilitator.

 

Director-General Dr Emma Meredith said: “As we enter an election year, where CTPA’s trusted and expert voice is more important than ever and will be heard on many fronts, I am delighted that CTPA members can rely on such a solid and passionate team to deliver our ambitious plans for the future and the continued growth of the UK cosmetics and personal care industry.”
