On 13 October 2020, the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) laid the Product Safety and Metrology etc. (Amendment etc.) (UK(NI) Indication) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 into Parliamentary process. Within this Statutory Instrument (SI), Schedule 34 is the basis for the UK Cosmetics Regulation.
The official consolidated version of the UK Cosmetics Regulation (UKCR) has now been published on legislation.gov.uk and can be viewed here. The consolidated version takes into account the changes needed to apply the EU Cosmetic Products Regulation (EU CPR) to the Great Britain (GB) market.
Please note that the current official UKCR consolidated version takes into account any changes which have taken effect before the 31 August 2022, including any changes to the ingredient Annexes.
