On 31 March 2026, the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) launched two separate consultations, outlining the government’s aim to simplify and modernise the UK’s Product Safety Legislation.
The consultations will run for 12 weeks, with the deadline for responses for both consultations being 23 June 2026.
