UK Government Announces New Timeline for Import Controls

On 11 March 2021, the UK Government announced a new timeline for the implementation of import controls for goods. This is to enable UK businesses to focus on recovering from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, whilst having more time for preparing for changes at the border and minimise disruption that occurred as a consequence of the UK leaving the EU.
