The UK Government has notified WTO of draft SI extending deadlines.
Following this news item, the UK Government notified to the World Trade Organisation (WTO), on 15 November 2022, the draft legislation for the Product Safety and Metrology (Amendment and Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2022 (G/TBT/N/GBR/49), previously entitled the Product Safety (Amendment) Regulations 2022.
The communication to the WTO was made under the scope of the prior notification from the UK Government to extend the deadlines included, and therefore is not open for comments. The legislation is expected to come into force before 31 December 2022 as shared.
