To benefit from the terms of the UK/EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA), goods must meet specific Rules of Origin requirements. Rules of origin determine where a product originates from and which tariffs subsequently apply to it. The TCA establishes the principles and details of rules of origin, as well as cumulation of origin for the purposes of the TCA, the tolerance levels, the relevant information on insufficient production and how to apply rules of origin to sets of goods. In particular, Annex ORIG-2 of the TCA provides a list of the specific rules of origin for each sector.
In order to help companies have a better understanding of this topic and to be able to comply with the rules of origin requirements, the UK Government is organising two webinars on this topic. Below are the details of the webinar, with the direct access link to the sessions.
