On 3 April 2024, the EU Commission published on the Official Journal of the EU the regulation amending the Annexes to the EU Cosmetic Products Regulation (CPR) with 9 cosmetic ingredients. This regulation covers the following ingredients: UV filter 4-methylbenzylidene camphor, genistein, daidzein, kojic acid, retinol/retinyl acetate/retinyl palmitate, alpha arbutin, arbutin, triclosan, triclocarban. Transition periods apply.
This regulation will enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
