On 27 July 2023, the EU Commission published on the Official Journal of the EU the regulation updating the labelling requirements for fragrance allergens, by including additional allergens to the list.
In order to help companies comply with the requirements for the additional allergens and provide practical examples of how this is done, Cosmetics Europe (CE – the European personal care association) has published this guidance. Companies are encouraged to consult this document and familiarise themselves with the upcoming requirements and the practical solutions outlined to ensure compliance.
