Sun Protection Conference 2023, 28-29 November, London

The 16th Sun Protection Conference will be taking place on 28-29 November at the Royal College of Physicians in London.

Running biennially since 1992, the Conference is one of the leading events in the suncare industry, tackling the latest challenges and championing the ever-evolving science.  Delegates include professionals working in the sun protection and skin care product sector and those interested in the current status of the scientific aspects of sun protection technology.

The Scientific Programme is now organised by Professor Paul Matts (P&G), after Dr Jack Ferguson (Skinnovation Ltd) stepped down from this long-running role at the last event.

With the 2023 Conference entitled “A Decade of Challenge - The Uncertain Future of Sun Protection”, this year’s sessions will cover:

  • The essentiality of sun protection - latest insights into the science and burden of UVR-induced skin cancer/photoageing
  • Challenges to our UV filter palette over the next 10 years
  • Sun testing and labelling of the future
  • A brave new world - a vision for the future
