A survey has been launched by the British Beauty Council, working with other industry stakeholders, to gather data on what impact the growth of self-employment, freelance workers and the gig economy is having on the future of skills and education, taxation and revenue etc. of the personal care services sector.
Interest is growing from the Department for Business, Enterprise and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), the Treasury, Parliamentary Groups and the Devolved Administrations which requires robust data from across all areas of personal care services to help inform discussions.
Individuals with careers in the personal care sector as well as business owners are being asked to contribute. The survey closes on Monday 12 July.
