On 4 April 2023, the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS), the UK competent authority for cosmetic products, sent a communication to registered users of the Submit Cosmetic Products Notifications (SCPN) portal regarding the new function to archive product notifications.
This new feature allows users to move product notifications that are no longer current into a new ‘archived notifications’ list. The user can select a reason for archive from a drop-down list. Notifications can also be ‘unarchived’ to be moved back into the ‘product notifications’ list.
The new functionality is now live on the portal.
