The Convention on Biological Diversity’s COP 15 took place in Montreal from 7 - 19 December 2022. During the conference, 190 countries agreed on the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, which sets 23 targets for 2030.
The agreement includes protecting 30% of Earth’s lands, oceans, coastal areas, and inland waters.
