CTPA would like to highlight that in celebration of its one year anniversary, Commit for Our Planet is hosting an event called 'Nature Positive. Role of the Cosmetics Industry.'
The event will take place on LinkedIn on 7 December 2023, 12:00-12:45 GMT.
The event will involve a thought-provoking chat with Xinqing Lu, Lead for Champions for Nature at the World Economic Forum, which will unravel the synergies between the Commit for Our Planet initiative and the findings from the World Economic Forum's report "Nature Positive: Role of the Household and Personal Care Products Sector."
The session will be moderated by Emma Trogen, Deputy Director General of Cosmetics Europe, and will delve into critical topics that are shaping the future of business and sustainability:
- Net-zero, nature-positive business models and the cosmetics industry;
- Need for businesses to develop a nature strategy and how to get it in motion;
- Unlocking new business opportunities through more sustainable sourcing, production and changes of consumer behaviour;
- Contribution of Commit for Our Planet as an initiative to unlocking these opportunities.
