On 1 June 2022, the World Trade Organisation was notified of a Draft Decree on Packaging and Packaging Waste in Spain.
The most recent version of the Draft is correct as of 22 November 2022. Until the text is published in the Official State Gazette, changes are possible; however, at this stage it is unlikely that any changes will be significant.
The final version of the text is expected to be published in the Official State Gazette on 31 December 2022, to enter into force on 1 January 2023.
