CTPA would like to highlight that a recording of the webinar that PackUK presented for CTPA on the Recyclability Assessment Methodology (RAM) is now available in CTPA’s Webinar Archive.
As part of UK Extended Producer Responsibility for Packaging (pEPR), large producers are required to apply the Recyclability Assessment Methodology (RAM) to all packaging placed on the market from 1 January 2025.
RAM classifications (Red/Amber/Green) must be reported every six months, alongside standard packaging data. The first reporting deadline for RAM classifications is 1 October 2025, for January to June data. The RAM will be used to inform modulated fees, starting in year two of pEPR.
