CTPA would like to highlight that PackUK, the newly appointed Scheme Administrator for UK Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), is establishing three voluntary advisory groups to provide expert guidance on packaging sustainability, waste management, and public engagement.
The groups will provide expert advice and recommendations to the PackUK leadership team; however, they will not be decision-making.
Expressions of interest are now open for the three groups:
- Recyclability Assessment Methodology Technical Advisory Committee
- Effectiveness and Efficiency Technical Advisory Committee
- Communications and Behaviour Change Advisory Group
Candidates must demonstrate relevant experience. Further details on each advisory group, as well as instructions on how to apply, are available on GOV.UK. Please note, a CV and supporting statement are required to apply for a position.
The deadline for applications is mid-day on 24 March 2025.
