CTPA would like to inform members that PackUK has shared the following message with Trade Associations, relating to 2024 packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (pEPR) data resubmissions:
"In accordance with the regulations, 2024 packaging data resubmissions may be submitted onto the Report Packaging Data (RPD) portal until 28 January 2026. However, any resubmitted packaging data must be approved by the relevant regulator.
To allow sufficient time for assessment and account for any unforeseen circumstances, we have asked compliance schemes that their 2024 packaging data is submitted no later than close of business on Wednesday, 21 January 2026. Where your member is not a member of a compliance scheme, they will need to submit their packaging 2024 packaging data by 31 December 2025, unless they include closed loop packaging in their data resubmission.
This will enable us to recalculate disposal fees promptly in 2026 and provide your members with certainty for this financial year.
Please note that some recently audited producers have been set individual deadlines to correct and resubmit their data. Those producers must meet the specific deadlines they were given.
