Join DIT Research Project on Consumer Impacts of International Trade

The Department for International Trade (DIT) is currently undertaking research exploring the benefits of trade for consumers.  To this effect, DIT has commissioned an independent research organisation to undertake research to better understand how businesses and manufacturers perceive international trade to affect the price, quality and supply of everyday consumer goods, including lipsticks.

The findings from the study will help build DIT’s evidence base on how international trade has benefited consumers in the UK - for example, by making products such as these more widely available, cheaper or better quality, and further details is available on the DIT flyer.

Companies involved in the import/manufacture of goods in the UK, using international supply chains are invited to take part in an interview during January.  The interview will last around 45 minutes, and participation will be entirely anonymous.  To express your interest please email [email protected].
