In the context of the UK-India Free Trade Agreement (FTA) due to enter into force this year, the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is organising a dedicated pitching day, during which approximately 50 UK small businesses will have the opportunity to pitch directly to buyers in India.
The event will take place in person on Tuesday 16 June 2026 morning, in central London.
DBT is looking for businesses in the food & drink, consumer, and retail sector. Participating companies will be offered the support needed to prepare for pitching, and will be joined on the day by export experts, who will be available to offer advice.
In addition to pitching business internationally via livestream to buyers specific to their industry, companies will also have the opportunity to network with other small business owners.
Companies interested in attending can complete the form on the DBT website, after which DBT will follow up with further details.
