Follow Up - CTPA Sustainability Summit - 'Think Sustainable, Act Positive'

 

CTPA was delighted to welcome environmentalist and writer, Jonathon Porritt, Dr Sally Uren, Chief Executive and Zoe le Grand, Principal Partnerships Manager at Forum for the Future, John Chave, Director General of Cosmetics Europe, and Graham McMillan, Principle at Teneo to CTPA’s interactive Sustainability Summit - 'Think Sustainable, Act Positive' on 14 January 2021. 

The debate explored global challenges and highlighted the imperative to act quickly: to take responsibility on a personal and corporate level, to set ambitious targets and to be authentic, honest and open about progress.  Overall, to look at the opportunities to build-back sustainably from the global pandemic, sharing learnings, finding ways to collaborate and work together whilst meeting consumer needs.

Providing personal reflections and insightful contributions, the Summit was seen asinspirational by attendees with a summary comment by one saying:

“A big vote of thanks to all the presenters and to the CTPA for pulling this webinar together.  2 hours spent here should contribute to a legacy that lasts for years.”

Following the Summit, CTPA is proud to announce the launch of its Sustainability Hub.  Covering an ever-expanding range of topics, this will be a repository of definitions, legal requirements and related guidance, both external and from CTPA, to help guide companies of all sizes towards making their own roles, products and businesses more sustainable.
