CTPA is delighted to announce that Helen Bird, Director of Material Systems Transformation for WRAP will be speaking at its Sustainability Summit, taking place in Central London this May.
Many in the industry will be familiar with Helen as the driving force behind the UK Plastics Pact. Since 2005, WRAP has led voluntary commitments with a history of rapid transformation, tackling some of the planet's biggest environmental challenges. Within Helen’s team are the technical experts who develop the evidence and strategies of the voluntary agreements, working in tandem with a team of passionate business account managers to ensure rapid action where it matters most. And while business activity is at the heart of the commitments, it is supported by WRAP's work on citizen behaviour change, local authority services, and government policy.
As well as sharing insights from her work with WRAP, Helen will introduce the UK Packaging Pact, the successor to the UK Plastics Pact, that seeks to support businesses to drive system-wide change across all packaging materials.
Join us for this in-person Summit offering a unique opportunity to connect with peers, key stakeholders, and other experts from all areas of the cosmetics industry through a curated programme designed to spark insight and collaboration, followed by a networking drinks reception.
The event will take place at the Woburn House, London on 20 May 2026. Due to limited seat availability, we recommend that you secure your place by 1 May 2026.
The cost will be CTPA member £250+VAT; Non-members £325+VAT
