CTPA would like to highlight that the European Commission has published a consultation relating to the design of the harmonised waste sorting labels that are being introduced under the upcoming EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).
The consultation is available here. A PDF version of the questions is available to download here.
The consultation is being run by the Joint Research Centre and the Directorate-General for the Environment, to gather evidence to inform the design of harmonised waste sorting labels.
It is seeking views on specific characteristics, including the system design (granularity and future proofing) and visual design.
The deadline for responses to the consultation is Monday 30 September.
