As an update to the CTPA news item published on 11 March 2025, CTPA would like to inform members that the EcoBeautyScore tool is now live for both industry participants and the public. When the tool first launched last year, it was initially available only to industry participants while a critical mass was reached to ensure that, once released to consumers, the scores would be meaningful. The first product scores have now been published and are available to consumers.
As a reminder, the product segments that are currently available to score are:
- Hair wash
- Body wash
- Face care
- Hair treat
Additionally, the following product segments are under development and are expected to be ready from April 2026:
- Face cleansers
- Body moisturise and treat
