The Responsible Person (RP) must comply with specific requirements for cosmetovigilance under the UK and EU Cosmetics Regulations. There are obligations to assess and interpret an Undesirable Effect (UE) or a Serious Undesirable Effect (SUE), collect information to carry out a causality assessment, as well as reporting relevant cases to authorities. CTPA has launched a new e-learning on Cosmetovigilance. This e-learning provides a comprehensive training on cosmetovigilance and companies’ related obligations. This CTPA training gives an overview of company’s recording and reporting obligations in the UK and the EU when a consumer experiences an adverse event, with a particular focus on performing a causality assessment.
The e-learning is available for free to members of CTPA; non-members of the Association can access the training for a payable fee of 75£+VAT.
After taking this e-learning, we advise companies to sign up for the biannual webinar presenting case studies on how to perform the causality assessment.
