The Department for Business and Trade (DBT) is running a series of webinars to support UK businesses looking to enter or grow in the Indian market.
The Pitch Perfect: India series has been designed to help UK businesses refine their approach, understand the Indian market and build strong, lasting partnerships. Upcoming sessions include:
- 26 June, 10:00–11:00 – Choosing the right entry model and partners
- 8 July, 10:00–11:00 – Selling into India for first-time UK exporters
Further sessions are expected to be added to the series. Companies are invited to register their interest with the DBT using this link.
This comes as the UK and India continue work to bring the UK–India Free Trade Agreement (FTA) into force. Earlier this week, Business and Trade Secretary Peter Kyle visited New Delhi to meet India’s Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal and discuss the next stage of the trading relationship. The Foreign Secretary is also in India to take forward the UK–India Vision 2035 partnership, which sets out wider cooperation across areas including economic growth, technology and innovation, defence and security, climate and education.
Companies may also be interested in the forthcoming UK–India FTA Roadshow 2026, which will take place across the UK from 17–25 June 2026. The roadshow is designed to provide UK businesses with the clarity, confidence and connections needed to enter or scale in one of the world’s fastest‑growing major economies.
