This year’s CTPA training ‘Cosmetic Claims – Principles and Practical Approaches’ will take place every day from 19 to 23 July between 13.30-15.30.
Joyce Ryan is a Consultant Research Scientist with over 40 years of expertise in sensory analysis, clinical trials and statistics. Joyce developed her experience by working in R&D at Colgate Palmolive, before setting up her own consultancy company, which offers a specialist independent contract testing and advisory service assisting R&D in evaluating new product performance in the cosmetics, toiletries and allied industries. Joyce also tutors various trainings for Statistics for Industry, including a course on Statistics for Claims Substantiation.
Joyce will share her knowledge on how statistics principles are applied to claim substantiation for cosmetics. She will demonstrate how to apply statistics to good study design, including choosing testing samples or panellists.
