This year’s CTPA training ‘Cosmetic Claims – Principles and Practical Approaches’ will take place every day from 19 to 23 July between 13.30-15.30.
Stewart Long is one of our speakers at the CTPA training on cosmetic claims. A biochemist by background, Stewart has over 25 years of experience in the beauty and healthcare industry. He is currently the CEO of Cutest Systems Ltd, a contract research organisation providing claims and safety data for personal care and medical device companies. Having previously worked in R&D and claims innovation at companies like Unilever, Boots and Dow Corning, he has developed an excellent experience in the claim substantiation for different product categories and the claim development process.
Stewart will share his expertise to give an overview of the building blocks, best practice and principles for cosmetic claims used by industry to assess claim substantiation and interpret the data. Stewart will also discuss how companies can work with testing houses, in particular how to brief them on the claims for your product and then how to interpret and use the data received.
Stewart will be supported by the CTPA team, and will provide an explanation on how to use the data from the substantiation dossier to support the claims made, based on the wording and overall context; or how to use available data to create alternative claims to the initial proposal.
The cost of the event is £200+VAT for members of CTPA, or £250+VAT for non-members; group discounts are also available. For more information, full programme and to book your place, go to the CTPA Claims Training event page.
