Practice Safety Assessment of Cosmetics Using NAMs and NGRA

Do you know how to apply the Threshold of Toxicological Concern (TTC) and principles of Read Across for the safety assessment for cosmetics and chemicals?

CTPA has teamed up with experts from its membership who are highly experienced in using Next Generation Risk Assessment (NGRA) and New Approach Methodologies (NAMs), to deliver a practical training session on integrating these methods into the safety assessment of cosmetic ingredients and chemicals.

The focus of the training will be on applying the Threshold of Toxicological Concern (TTC) and the principles of Read Across for cosmetic and chemicals safety assessment.  Attendees will have the opportunity to analyse case studies based on TTC and read across and use the information to make safety decisions, whilst being assisted by experts.  There will be plenty of opportunities for attendees to test out their skills in applying these principles in practice, and to engage with the experts and ask questions on this topic. The detailed programme for the day is available here.

The training day will be held on 29 September 2025 in London at Woburn House.  The cost will be £125+VAT for members of CTPA, or £175+VAT for non-members of CTPA.  To register, please click here. The deadline for registration is 12 September 2025.
