Do you have an understanding of the Next Generation Risk Assessment (NGRA) and how to use it for safety assessment of cosmetics and chemicals?
CTPA has teamed up with experts from its membership who are highly experienced in using Next Generation Risk Assessment (NGRA) and New Approach Methodologies (NAMs), in order to organise practical training on integrating these methods into the safety assessment of cosmetic ingredients and chemicals.
Participants will receive a comprehensive overview of NGRA/NAMs approaches and guidance on identifying the most effective strategies for their application. Practical case studies will be presented on the use of the Threshold of Toxicological Concern (TTC) and Read Across principles. During this event, participants will engage with NGRA/NAMs-based data and examples to arrive at safety assessment conclusions, under the guidance of experts. Expert speakers will also present a practical case study on the broader application of the NGRA framework.
There will be ample opportunities for participants to interact with the experts and seek clarification on any challenges or barriers they may encounter. The detailed programme for the day is available here.
The training day will be held on 29 September 2025 in London at Woburn House. The cost will be £125+VAT for members of CTPA, or £175+VAT for non-members of CTPA. To register, please click here. The deadline for registration is 12 September 2025.
