The International Collaboration on Cosmetic Safety (ICCS) recently held a webinar on its Best Practice Guidance (BPG) on skin sensitisation and has now made the recording available. The recording of the webinar, the presentations and the BPG can all be accessed at this page.
As a reminder, this webinar recording covered:
- An overview of the ICCS BPG for skin sensitization workflow
- Defined approaches for skin sensitization under OECD GL 497
- Practical use of the 2o3, ITS and SARA-ICE model in real assessments
- How these methods strengthen confidence while eliminating animal testing
Companies are encouraged to use these resources, in order to gain a clear understanding of how to operationalise the ICCS BPG in day-to-day safety assessment and regulatory review.
