On 24 March 2026, the draft Statutory Instrument extending the deadlines for registration under UK REACH has been laid before Parliament. The SI is subject to affirmative procedure, meaning that they require approval in Parliament before being signed into law.
The draft SI extends the deadline for registration to 2029, 2030 and 2031. This is in line with the response to the related consultation.
