Estefania Cardamone will be one of the experts facilitating the practical session and the delivery of the case study on benzophenone-4, as well as address any of your questions.
Estefania Cardamone is a Pharmacist specialising in cosmetic production, who graduated from Buenos Aires University. After working for six years in cosmetics companies in Argentina she joined Cosmetics Europe as an Issue Manager in the Ingredients Department, a role she has held for the last five years. As part of that role, among monitoring ingredient issues in the EU, Estefania conducts the issue and project management of different cosmetic ingredient consortia. In this role, Cosmetics Europe acts as an intermediary between the industry and the European Commission and the Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS), providing guidance to the industry on ingredient defense and European Regulatory processes. Estefania participated in the Benzophenone-4 industry consortium, which submitted an NGRA ingredient dossier to the SCCS.
