On 30 April 2026, the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) published a Statutory Instrument (SI) updating the provisions of the GB Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulation. The SI will come into force on 21 May 2026.
This SI implements significant changes to the GB CLP Regulation, GB Biocidal Products Regulation and GB Prior Informed Consent, as per the HSE response to the Chemicals Legislative Reform.
