CTPA would like to highlight that the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) has published an online obligation checker to assist every organisation in understanding whether it needs to act under UK Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) for packaging.
In order to use the online tool, every organisation must know:
- its annual turnover;
- the ways that the organisation handles and supplies packaging; and
- the total weight (in tonnes) of packaging it handled and supplied in 2022.
