On 8 April 2025, the UK Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and CTPA were delighted to invite British businesses to attend a free webinar dedicated to providing the most recent market data for China and regulatory updates, including essential information companies need to know.
Sophia Feng, Senior Regulatory Affairs Manager at MK cosmetics, presented an overview of the latest market data for the cosmetics sector in China, the most recent regulatory developments and the most common challenges faced by businesses trading in China. Kit Digby, China Regional Policy Advisor at DBT provided an update on their engagement with the UK cosmetics industry, government departments and partners in China. Finally, Johanna Irigaray, International Affairs Manager at CTPA, gave insights into the Association’s advocacy work with members and key stakeholders to overcome the current challenges for UK exporters to China.
