China Cosmetics Regulatory Workshop

On 27 February 2024, the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), together with CTPA, held a workshop webinar dedicated to the latest China cosmetics regulations, existing trade barriers and how UK exporters could address them.  The session also included a panel discussion where expert speakers addressed key updates and developments.  Notably, the upcoming requirement to provide a full safety assessment report by 1 May 2024, the new toothpaste regulations and facility inspections for imported cosmetics were discussed.
