Brexit – OPSS Publishes ‘No Deal’ Brexit Guidance for Cosmetics

The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) has published guidance to help companies understand how the UK Cosmetics Regulation (Product Safety and Metrology etc. (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019) will apply to cosmetic products sold on the UK market if there is a ‘no deal’ Brexit.

Companies are reminded that this legislation will come into force on 31 October only if the UK leaves the EU without a deal.  More information on contingency planning for the worst Brexit scenario can be found on the CTPA Brexit public page.
