On 12 January 2021, Minister Paul Scully of the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) issued a letter (with related annex for more guidance) to alert hauliers that a negative Covid-19 test is needed before travelling from the UK into France, across the Channel. The Government has established 34 free Covid-19 testing facilities at haulier advice sites as detailed at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/haulier-advicesite-locations
