Would you like to champion the UK’s vibrant cosmetics and personal care industry?
The Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association (CTPA) is the voice of the cosmetics and personal care industry in the UK, promoting good working practice and representing the interests of its members through active dialogue with UK Government, European and international regulators, interested stakeholders and media. Membership comprises brands, manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, retailers and service providers, from SMEs to multi-nationals.
CTPA is currently recruiting its first-ever Marketing Manager to promote its services and champion the UK’s vibrant cosmetics and personal care industry to domestic and international stakeholders at an exciting time in its history. You’ll be responsible for researching, designing, implementing and evaluating CTPA’s marketing strategy; and for building a host of colleague, partner and member relationships to help to facilitate this.
You will be:
- Creative – you’ll be able to transform complex science into compelling content for everyone.
- Curious - you’ll enjoy trying new things and be excited to introduce us to new ideas.
- A proficient project manager - you’ll be organised and proactive in managing multiple tasks and seeing projects through to completion.
- A confident presenter – comfortable building relationships with stakeholders and partners.
- A self-starter – happy to manage your own time, but ready to call on colleagues for support.
You will have:
- A track-record of delivering effective marketing activities for other organisations, including website content, social media, emails, reports and events.
- Experience in managing and developing a corporate website, including using a Content Management System (CMS), tagging content and taking steps to strengthen SEO.
- A passion for promoting sound science – experience in a related industry is desirable, not essential.
- Strong creative copywriting skills – able to capture attention across complex topics.
- Experience in how to plan and produce videos or a willingness to learn (training can be provided).
- A good understanding of best practice in PR and communications.
We can offer:
- The chance to make a big difference within a small and friendly team.
- An office-based role, located in central London, which offers the flexibility of some remote working.
- An attractive salary according to experience.
- Private healthcare and a workplace pension scheme.
