Cosmetovigilance is the monitoring by companies of adverse reactions to cosmetic products when they are used by consumers. As well as being a legal obligation under Article 23 of both the UK and EU Cosmetics Regulations, cosmetovigilance is a useful tool to monitor the product whilst it is on the market and identify any safety signals. Authorities also monitor the occurrence of undesirable effects through the legally-required reporting system for serious undesirable effects.
After taking this e-learning, we advise companies to sign up for the biannual webinar presenting case studies on how to perform the causality assessment. The webinar is interactive, allowing active participation for attendees via practical examples. Please visit the CTPA events page to check the next upcoming webinar.
Easy to follow, engaging
Well paced, the division in 4 videos allows for pausing and assimilation of the information received, having the two presenters live in the small window at the top made it realistic, immediate and comparable to a face-to-face class. The content is clear, simple, delivered clearly with a change of voice and rhythm to keep the 'audience' engaged. I am very pleased with this first e-learning course from CTPA and look forward to attending the Cosmetovigilance webinar on Case Studies.
Informative :)
Easy to understand
The training was very useful and easy to understand. Examples were given which made it easier to know how to use the tools (a decision tree).
