DIT’s Webinar Series - Accessing the China Market

In March 2021, the Department for International Trade (DIT) will be hosting a beauty festival, featuring seven targeted sessions delivered by industry experts, and covering all key aspects of China beauty, from navigating China’s regulatory changes and how to comply with the new legislation to the market segment’s landscape and consumer trends.

The publications of the Cosmetic Supervision and Administration Regulation (CSAR) and implementing rules that flesh out details of the future requirements will provide new opportunities for businesses marketing general cosmetics in China without the need to test on animals.  Therefore, on Tuesday 2 March, CTPA will join DIT to participate in a panel discussion to walk through the recent changes under the new regulatory framework, and more specifically the conditions for animal testing exemption.  Further details on the proposed solution for British brands to comply with these requirements will also be provided.
